ELSO’s Policy on Indirect Costs

ELSO is striving to advance the field by maximizing use of its funds for direct costs of activities including sponsored projects. While ELSO recognizes that institutions have indirect costs in addition to the direct costs of sponsored activities, ELSO expects and appreciates that its contractor and grantee institutions absorb the facilities and administrative costs related to sponsored projects.

Therefore it is the policy of ELSO to not cover indirect costs on sponsored contracts and grants.
