Extracorporeal Life Support Adult ECMO Simulation Training Course

The training course is offered at two different dates with a maximum of 60 people per session:
April 12 - 13, 2022 - FULL
April 14 - 15, 2022 - FULL

 

This course is designed for learners who have completed the ELSO Virtual ECMO Training Course or for practitioners with a strong foundational knowledge of ECMO patient care. Using patient case scenarios, VA and VV ECMO concepts are further explored. In the setting of small groups, students will have an opportunity for hands on learning and troubleshooting of clinical cases. This is a great opportunity to apply what was discussed in the multi-day lecture series. This course is structured for multidisciplinary learning at various stages of experience.

 

Day 1 0800-1630 

  • Lectures on Introduction to Simulation, Circuit Overview, & Lessons Learned
  • 2 Simulation Session - 6 ECMO Emergency Scenarios 

Day 2 0800-1230

  • 2 Simulation Sessions - 2 ECMO Emergency Scenarios and Megacode
  • Lessons Learned Discussion with Faculty

Cancellations must be requested in writing. Before February 15, 2022 50% refund, after February 15, 2022 no refund will be granted.
