32nd Annual ELSO Conference (Virtual)

September 30th and October 1st 2021

 

We will be offering a robust scientific program, including plenary sessions, specialty breakouts and much more. Abstracts will be accepted until July 15, 2021. Registrants will be able to participate in live sessions as well as have access to the content after the meeting. We are excited to share some of the new sessions that are possible because of the virtual platform. We will announce more details as soon as they are available.

ELSO Director's Meeting Information

ELSO will be holding its annual Director’s Meeting on September 29th at 7:00 – 8:30 PM Eastern Time. This event will take place one day prior to the 32nd Annual ELSO (Virtual Conference). There will be no cost to attend the Director’s Meeting and all directors and co- co-directors will be emailed a link to join.

ECMO Today and Tomorrow: What’s Needed for our ‘New Normal’; How Can We Help?

President Matt Paden, MD and President-Elect Daniel Brodie, MD will lead ELSO’s Director’s Meeting this year.

Meeting Your Needs: The clinical realities we face continue to evolve. 18 months into this pandemic and new stresses and pressures are emerging as we continue on with the ever-reaching effects of the pandemic. We would like to hear from our directors about what has helped and what is needed looking ahead.

ELSO Today: We will share the latest initiatives and work across our committees and regions.

ELSO Tomorrow: Emerging research, increased demand for ECMO, and your feedback mean new programs and services. This is a challenging and exciting time.

We look forward to an open discussion and sharing of ideas.

ELSO Coordinator’s Meeting Information

ELSO will be holding its annual coordinators meeting on September 29th at 7:00 PM Eastern Time. This event will take place one day prior to the 32nd Annual ELSO (Virtual) Conference which we hope you will be able to attend. There will be no cost associated with the coordinator’s meeting and all coordinators and co- coordinators will be emailed a link to join.

Hear from experts on how they changed their program to adapt to COVID-19. The speakers will describe the area they serve and the program changes they made to improve access to ECMO when possible. We will have 10 minute presentations followed by Q/A. Coordinators and ECMO Specialists, please join us at the Coordinator’s Meeting and share your thoughts on what this pandemic means to us as a whole. Micheal Heard will give us an update on the Center of Excellence.
